SolarFest is all about hope.
It started with the hope that if people saw solar power at work on a full production stage, they would be inspired. They were!
It continued with the hope that workshops and speakers would change people’s lives. They did!
It’s more important than ever to feed the hope that our actions at all levels will help bring about the changes needed to respond to climate change.
When’s the next SolarFest?
This summer there’s a new 2.2 MW solar array being built on the field next door. With the noise, dust, and traffic that project involves, we have decided to pause our 2024 festival. We’ll focus 2024 on rebuilding our foundation in community, facilities, education, and communications. Then 2025 will be perfect for a relaunch of the big, fun festival that SolarFest helped pioneer.
If you’ve able to volunteer, there’s a group looking for your passion and skills to help realize the full potential of SolarFest!
Thank you to all the sponsors and exhibitors who Keep SolarFest strong!
On May 30, 2023 we lost our great friend Dave Conna.
